Early 20th Century Heriz Rug

An amazing early 20th Century Persian Heriz rug with an unusual design lacking the traditional large central medallion, but rather includes a small flower medallion on a wonderfully woven mirror patterned multicolored floral, leaf, and vine motif on a beautiful crimson colored wool background. The border is incredible, with a wide large-scale floral pattern on a dark indigo background, flanked by two stylized floral and leaf patterned borders.
