Early 20th Century Sumak Bag Face Rug

A wonderful early 20th Century Persian Kurdish bag face rug with a wonderful pattern containing multiple diamonds with geometric forms woven in crimson, light and dark indigo, and green colored wool. The border is complex, with two wide stripes, one with a zigzag pattern and the other with stylized floral patterned stripe.
