Extraordinary 19th Century Serab Rug

An extraordinary late 19th century Persian Serab rug with an all-over multicolored stylized floral and vine pattern on a crimson background. The flowers are stunning in their, at time, geometric, rendering. The borders is complex consisting of one floral and leaf pattern flanked by two matching petite floral borders. The outer border is solid, woven with camel hair.
