An extraordinary vintage Persian silk and wool Tabriz rug with a skillfully and precisely rendered large-scale floral and vine pattern. The flowers are woven in crimson, orange, gold, indigo, green, and white vegetable dyed silk and wool, on a white background. The border is fantastic with a wide central floral and scrolling leafy vine pattern on a pale indigo background, flanked by two matching thinner floral patterned stripes.
