An amazing early 20th Century Persian Kashan rug with an architectural design depicting two fluted columns wrapped with scrolling vines and flowers, supporting a vaulted ceiling with arabesque design. A potted planter hangs from the ceiling. The field is woven with a natural, undyed, wool. The border is complex, consisting of a large floral and vine border on a bard indigo background flanked by two smaller borders with petite floral pattern.
