An early 20th century Chinese Art Deco runner with a mauve colored field with a beautiful pattern of flowering peonies and prunus blossoms on scrolling branches with magpies, all rendered in light and dark indigo with beige and violet. The border is fantastic with a wide indigo stripe with several half moon shapes and flowering branches.
