A beautiful early 20th century Persian Gashgaei rug with an all-over floral trellis pattern woven in crimson, light and dark indigo, white, and pale green colored vegetable dyed wool, all against a crimson background. The border is beautiful, with a wonderfully rendered stylized floral patterned central stripe flanked by a pair of matching floral patterned stripes.
