An early 20th Century Central Asian Khotan rug with a beautiful orange field of pomegranate, trees-of-life, and floral patterns. The border is wonderfully rendered consisting of Buddhist endless knot patterns, turbulent clouds, and stepped rays of light, woven in complementary orange, yellow, and brown patterns.
