Early 20th Century Khotan Rug

A wonderful early 20th Century Central Asian Khotan rug with a three large medallions, two round and one square, amidst a field of smaller floral medallions, on a crimson colored background. The border is composed of two patterned stripes. The inner stripe has a petite floral pattern and the outer stripe has a turbulent cloud pattern, both woven in multicolored wool.
