Early 20th Century Kirman Rug

A beautiful early 20th Century Persian Kirman rug with an elaborate and skillfully woven all-over multicolored pattern of interwoven large and small-scale flowers, scrolling vines and leaves, on a natural undyed background. The border is unbelievable! Using complementary colors as the field, it’s even more intricately woven, with a similar pattern. Multiple narrower floral borders are on either side of the wide center.
