Early 20th Century Malayer Rug

A wonderful early 20th century Persian Malayer rug with a large central diamond medallion on a field of trellis and myriad flowers all woven in light and dark indigo and white vegetable dyed wool on a crimson background. The border is wide with several large-scale floral and scrolling vine patterned stripes.
