A fantastic early 20th Century Persian Sarouk rug with a wonderfully woven central medallion comprised of multicolored flowers, leaves, and paisleys on a rich crimson background, surrounded by complementary densely woven floral, scrolling vine, and paisley frame. The border is wide and comprised of multiple complementary floral patterns, woven in similar crimson, indigo, yellow, and cream wool.
