An exceptional early 20th Century Afghani Ersari rug with an incredible pattern with stylized trees-of-life on a brilliant crimson background. Surrounding the trees-of-life are stylized floral motif bands on a natural undyed wool background. The border is commentary with similar stylized flowers.
