Exceptional Early 20th Century Malayar Herati Rug

An exceptional early 20th Century Persian Malayar Herati rug with an incredible pattern consisting of one of the most intensely woven all-over multicolored floral and vine trellis patterns we’ve ever seen, woven in crimson, indigo, gold and green, on a dark indigo background. The border is complex with a wide floral and leaf centre stripe, flanked by three unique petite floral borders on each side.
