Exceptional Late 19th Century Kurdish Bag Face Rug

An exceptional late 19th century Persian Kurdish bag face rug with a wonderful pattern containing multiple diamonds with geometric forms woven in crimson, light and dark indigo, and yellow colored wool. The border is complex, with two wide stripes, one with a zigzag pattern and the other with stylized floral patterned stripe.
