An exquisite early 20th Century Persian Mahal rug with a gorgeous lattice-work floral field woven with indigo, crimson, gold and coral wool, on a natural, undyed, wool background. The border is fantastic with a wide central border depicting a pomegranate motif with scrolling vines on an indigo background, flanked by two similar floral and scrolling vine borders.
