An extraordinary early 20th century Persian Bidjar rug with an fantastic large floral central medallion with myriad leaves and vines, amidst a field of all-over repeated flowers and leaves woven in light and dark indigo, pink, brown, and cream colored vegetable dyed wool against a rich muted crimson background. The border is beautiful with a large central floral patterned stripe flanked by pairs of matching petite floral and geometric patterned stripes.
