An extraordinary large early 20th century Persian Serapi rug with a fantastic large stylized floral medallion woven in light and dark indigo, cream, crimson, and pink, amidst a field of more stylized flowers on a fabulous abrash coral background. The border is wonderful, with a wide stylized floral and scrolling vine patterned central stripe flanked by a pair of matching petite floral patterned stripes.
