Fantastic Early 20th Century Ersari Rug

A fantastic early 20th century Afghani Ersari rug with multiple all-over crimson and indigo octagonal medallions amidst a field of stylized flowers and scrolling vines all woven in crimson and indigo on a pale crimson background. The border is wonderful with multiple stylized floral and vine patterned stripes woven in crimson, indigo, and white vegetable dyed wool.
