Incredible Early 20th Century Lavar Kirman Rug

An incredible early 20th Century, Persian Lavar Kirman rug with a beautiful central floral medallion amidst a field of intensely woven multicolored field of flowers and vines. The border is complex, composed of a wide central floral and vine stripe flanked by petite floral patterned stripes, all woven in a Baroque manner. The entire rug is woven in traditional Kirman colors of light and dark cranberry, indigo, gold, and natural undyed cream colored wool.
