An incredible late 19th century, Persian Lavar Kirman rug with a beautiful central floral medallion amidst a field of intensely woven field of flowers and vines. The border is complex, composed of a wide central floral and vine stripe flanked by two matching petite floral patterned stripes. The entire rug is woven in traditional Kirman colors of light and dark cranberry, indigo, gold, and natural undyed cream colored wool.
