An outstanding late 19th century Kazak rug with the most wonderful bold stylized floral pattern woven in brilliant reds, yellows, greens, and blues, all against a dark indigo background. The border is wonderful with an inner stripe with stylized chickens, and an outer stripe with a repeated floral pattern.
