Outstanding 19th Century Qashqai Rug

An outstanding, really fine, 19th century Persian Qashqai rug with an incredible pattern containing a large crimson medallion filled with leaves and flowers, amidst a field of myriad flowers, on a beautiful abrash indigo background. The border is exquisite, with six distinct patterns, some stylized floral, and other are geometric, all woven in crimson, indigo, and cream colored wool.
