A rare early 20th Century Persian Qazvin Kilim runner with an unusual all-over pattern of stylized paisleys woven in a diagonal pattern of alternating colors. This rug shows the incredible skill and sophisticated sensibility of the weaver who chose to use natural, undyed, wool. The border is wonderful, with a wide central band depicting stylized crabs on a white background, flanked by two narrower geometric bands.
