Superb Early 20th Century Shahsavan Kilim Rug

A fantastic early 20th Century Shahsavan Kilim rug with two wonderful diamond medallions. One is woven in a brilliant salmon and rust orange dyed wool. The other is woven with the same rust orange highlighting some of the geometric designs. The ground is a wonderful field of natural undyed wool. The border is unique, with a wild abrash diamond pattern. The colors are bold on one end, and fade to a fantastic muted lavender and indigo.
