An unbelievable circa 1900s antique Persian Sultanabad rug with an exceptional overall pattern containing multiple large-scale multicolored flower medallions amidst a tightly woven pattern of scrolling vines with leaves and flowers on a crimson background. The border is wide, with a large central stripe with a beautiful repeated large-scale flower and leaf pattern on a white background, flanked by multiple petite floral patterned stripes.
