Whimsical 1960s Qum Rug

A wonderful 1960s Persian Qum rug with a whimsical pictorial pattern containing various deer and birds amidst a landscape of trees-of-life, woven in crimson, light and dark indigo, gold, and cream wool. The border is woven with a similar pattern of deer amidst trees, on a light indigo background.
