A wonderful and whimsical early 20th century Indian Agra rug with an all-over pattern of large-scale flowers and scrolling vines, and myriad animals including birds, lions, leopards and lions hunting deer, and antelope, all woven in myriad colors on a cranberry field. The border is patterned similarly and woven in similar colors as the field, but on a green background.
