An early 20th century Central Asian Khotan rug with a wonderful large pale indigo central medallion with a pomegranate motif surrounding a gold floral center, on a rich crimson field of flowers and more pomegranates, surrounded by two distinct borders. One border is a multicolored floral and vine pattern. The other border is a stylized billowing cloud and turbulent wave pattern.
