An unbelievable early 20th century Persian Kirman rug with the most amazing tree-of-life pattern sprouting from a crimson and indigo double-handled vase. The branches are heavy with myriad varieties of flowers, grapes, and petite pomegranate blossoms and fruits, all woven in light and dark indigo, cranberry and brown wool. The entire scene is framed with boldly rendered indigo scrolling vines. The frame is wide comprised of five distinct patterns of similar flowers and fruits.
