A beautiful early 20th century Persian Afshar rug with a fantastic pattern containing a large central diamond medallion with stylized flowers, and living amidst a field of densely woven petite stylized flowers and goats, all woven in crimson, indigo, whites, and yellows, set against an indigo background. The border is wonderful, with a stylized scrolling vine pattern flanked by petite floral patterned stripes.
