An incredible early 20th century Persian Ardabil rug with a wonderful tribal pattern containing two large medallion with stylized leaves and flowers living amidst a field of petite flowers, and surrounded by a robust complex border composed of multiple petite floral patterned stripes, and all woven in crimson, green, light and dark indigo, gold, and white colored wool.
