A remarkable early 20th century Persian Sarouk Farahan rug the most wonderful all-over repeated pattern woven with myriad stylized flowers and scrolling vines, and all woven in light and dark indigo, cream, coral, green, and white wool. The border is complex with multiple petite partnered stripes flanking a wide central stripe with more stylized flowers.
