A wonderful early 20th century Persian Azerbaijani Shrivan rug with three large octagonal medallions, each with a large stylized floral pattern, living amidst a field of more stylized flowers and all surrounded by a complex border with a central stylized floral patterned border flanked by pairs of borders with a scrolled ribbon pattern, and all woven in varying shades of crimson, light and dark indigo, gold, brown and cream colored wool.
