A wonderful early 20th century Persian Shahsavan Kilim rug with a simle, but beautiful, field woven in natural undyed wool with varying shades of brown. A geometric-styled diamond medallion lives in the centre, and alternating crimson and white hand-embroidered geometric shapes create the border.
