An exceptional early 20th century Persian Kashan rug with a densely woven field and medallion of myriad flowers, leaves, and vines, all woven in crimson, indigo, gold, pink, and cream colored vegetable dyed wool. The border is complex and as densely woven as the field, with a large floral and vine motif amidst various other flowers, on a crimson background, flanked by four petite floral borders.
