An extraordinary early 20th century Sarouk rug with an elaborate all-over pattern containing myriad flowers woven in traditional Sarouk colors of light and dark indigo, cream, pink, and crimson, all on a cranberry background. The border is elaborate and wide with a large central floral and scrolling vine pattern flanked by multiple pairs of petite floral patterned stripes.
