An extraordinary early 20th century Persian Seraband rug with three large diamond medallions, each with a petite pattern of crimson and gold crosses on an indigo background. The medallions live on a crimson field of stylized flowers and birds. The border is fantastic with multiple distinct floral and vine, and geometric patterns, each woven in crimson, indigo, gold, green, and cream colored wool.
