An extraordinary early 20th century Persian Tabriz rug with an elaborate pattern containing multiple central medallions stacked on top of one another, and each with a distinct floral and scrolling vine pattern, all woven in gold, crimson, brown, light and dark indigo, and white colored wool. The border is outstanding with a wide central floral and leaf patterned stripe, flanked by pairs of petite patterned stripes.
