An extraordinary late 19th century Persian Shirvan prayer rug with an incredible stylized multicolored floral pattern field and woven with in crimson, indigo, white, and brown natural vegetable dyed wool on a brilliant gold background. The border is exceptional, woven with four distinct patterns, one geometric and the others are stylized floral patterns, woven in similarly dyed wool at the central field.
