A fantastic early 20th century Mahal rug with an all-over lattice pattern of myriad flowers and leaves woven in white, light indigo, green, and gold vegetable dyed wool on a dark crimson colored background. The border is wonderful with a wide central stripe with large-scale flowers on a dark indigo background flanked by multiple pairs of petite patterned stripes.
