A gorgeous early 20th century Persian Sarouk Farahan rug with a large elaborate central medallion with central flower and myriad vines radiating out from the center. The medallion lives amidst a field of densely woven flowers and vines, all woven in salmon, cream, gold, pink, and light indigo, on dark indigo and pale crimson backgrounds. The border is exceptional, with a wide central floral and vine patterned stripe flanked by narrow stripes each with petite floral patterns.
