An incredible early 20th century Persian Sarouk rug with the most elaborate central medallion with densely woven scrolling vine and floral pattern woven in myriad colors including coral, light and dark indigo, green and cream, and all set against a coral background. The border is uniquely patterned with a stylized tree-of-life pattern woven in similar colors as the field, and flanked by pairs of matching petite floral patterned stripes.
