A remarkable late 19th century Persian Serapi rug with the a fabulous large central floral medallion living among a field with myriad stylized scrolling vines and flowers and woven in pinks, whites, golds, greens, and indigos, and all set against an abrash crimson background. The border is outstanding composed of several floral and vine patterned stripes.
