An outstanding early 20th century Persian Sarouk rug with a fantastic all-over trellis pattern containing weeping willows trees and potted blossoming flowers and vines all woven in light and dark indigo, and gold on a cranberry colored background. The border is wonderful with a wide central floral patterned stripe flanked by pairs of matching petite floral patterned stripes.
