An unbelievable late 19th century Persian Sumak rug with three large indigo medallions, densely woven with stylized geometric and floral motifs, amidst a field of stylized flowers on a crimson background. The border is masterfully woven with a wide central stripe containing a zigzag pattern flanked by match petite stylized geometric flowers patterned stripes.
