A wonderful late 19th century Persian Sarouk Farahan rug with an expertly rendered and densely woven pattern of intertwining vines, leaves, and flowers woven in beautiful indigo, salmon, and gold vegetable dyed wool. The border is sweet, with a scrolling floral and vine pattern on a dark indigo background.
