A wonderfully "tribal" 19th century Persian Kazak rug with boldly woven floral, vegetable and animal motifs woven in crimson, indigo, green and gold vegetable dyed wool. The border is complex with eight distinct patterns, containing large and small-scale flowers, stripes and petite zigzag patterns.
