A 1930s Persian Sarouk Farahan rug with a large central medallion on a traditional stylized floral and vine patterned field woven in multicolored vegetable dyed crimson, indigo, yellow and green wool. The border is complex with multiple three distinct patterns consisting of two multicolored striped patterns flanking a larger floral and vine pattern.
