Early 20th Century Saruk Rug

An early 20th Century Persian Tabriz rug with a unique all-over multi-colored tree-of-life pattern with flowers, vines, and trees woven in dark and light indigo, and natural un-dyed wool, on a wonderful crimson background. The wide border is composed of five complementary large-scale flowers with scrolling vines.
